One form for duration and time shifts

The calculator reports the time between the two clock values and separately adds or subtracts minutes from the start time. Cross-midnight mode adds one day only when the end clock time is earlier.

01

Overnight example

For 23:30 to 01:15 with Cross midnight enabled, the duration is 1 hour 45 minutes.

02

Clock wrap

Adjusted times wrap through 00:00, so adding minutes to 23:30 can correctly return a time on the next clock day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What format is the adjusted time?

The adjusted time is shown as a 24-hour HH:MM clock value and wraps around midnight when needed.
